Who holds your data

Unamok LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company trading as Unamok, is responsible for the personal information described here.

The short version

We collect what we need to do the work and bill you for it, and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we run no third-party tracking on this site.

What we collect

When you are invoiced: your name, email address and billing address, held by Stripe on the invoice. Payment card and bank details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems.

When you contact us: whatever you put in your email.

During an engagement: information about your devices, accounts and network — necessarily, since that is the work. This is the most sensitive data we hold and it is treated accordingly.

How we use it

To deliver the service you booked, to contact you about it, and to meet our legal and tax obligations. We do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.

Who else sees it

Stripe processes payments and holds the associated billing data under its own privacy policy. Vercel hosts this site and processes standard server request logs. We use no advertising or analytics trackers.

We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose.

How long we keep it

Engagement notes and reports are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Billing records are kept for 7 years to meet tax requirements. You can ask us to delete your engagement records sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@unamok.io and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under your own state or national law; we will honor those where they apply.

Security

Engagement records are stored encrypted, and access is limited to the person doing the work. Credentials shared with us during an engagement are held only for as long as the work requires, and we recommend you change them afterwards regardless.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States.
